서울 문묘(Seoul Munmyo), 성균관대학교 (Sungkyungkwan University)
Seoul Munmyo or Sung Kyun Kwan Munmyo is Korea's primary Confucian shrine. Also, Munmyo Bae-hyang was considered the highest honor a scholar could achieve during the Joseon Dynasty. There were only 18 of them that were granted this honor and were called the 18 Sages of Korea or the 18 Confucian Scholars of the East. Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU or simply Seongdae) is a private research university with campuses in Seoul and Suwon. Originally, it was founded in 1398 by the Joseon Dynasty located in the heart of central Seoul.
